Hello, and welcome to Dan Watches Movies! I’m Dan Roberts, and I watch movies (among many other things). I am an English teacher from Kansas City, Missouri, and I enjoy way too many things. They include but are not limited to: board games, horror films, science fiction, philosophy, travel, and video games. For all reviews on this site, I use a (pretty) standard four star rating system, where the stars roughly correspond to the following:
- 4 Stars: A timeless classic, valuable to just about anyone, near perfection for what it aims to be. Almost anyone should find something great in this.
- 3 Stars: Very good. Unless the viewer hates the genre or subject matter, there is much to appreciate here.
- 2 Stars: Not recommended. Only people who really like the genre or subject matter will find something to enjoy in this.
- 1 Star: Not recommended to anyone, regardless of their interests. Basically nothing redeeming or worthwhile about the experience.
